Rose Wiegand and Dennis Labadie
The very first day of my real estate career my broker, Mr. Hank Sybrandy told me if I am fair and honest, I will always do well in real estate. I have taken that piece of advice to heart and made it a company motto. I do not measure success by how many listings I have or how many dollars in sales volume I have done in the last year. My success is from the satisfaction of my clients. I feel a good Realtor is like a guardian angle guiding a person during one of life’s biggest transitions; buying or selling their home.
I started real estate career in 1998 in San Diego at Century 21 Solymar. I served the areas of Clairemont, University City and La Jolla. Dennis and I made a commitment that when our son, Dominic started high school we would move to a smaller community. We searched for two years, starting in Washington, then Oregon, Northern California until we discovered Crestline right here in Southern California. The best kept secret of the west coast.
In 2003 we bought our commercial building and I opened up Crestline Real Estate. I am a real estate broker and notary public. I also pen a real estate advice column called, “Ask the Realtor.” My column has appeared in The Alpenhorn News since 2006. I have included selected columns on this web site.
Some of the community projects I am involved include:
v The Alpenhorn News backpack give away. This year we gave out nearly 400 back packs to Rim school students.
v Mountaineer Days, event coordinator. A three day carnival and alcohol free smoke free family event.
v Board director for the Crestline Village Water District.
v I was in the first CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training group in Crestline. A volunteer search and rescue support to the Crestforest Fire District.
v I am also part of the Labadie for Supervisor 2010 campaign team.
